Reflection
For this semester we learnt to develop a concept from an object or a tradition and to incorporate it into our design. The transition of the original to concept was a bit difficult for me as i had a hard time developing ideas from my choice of subject. But even before that i had trouble choosing my subject. I could not choose between pottery and Erhu. But alas i stuck with the Erhu. Erhu was a lot more interesting for me because of its sound and form. From there concept development was hard. But i managed to come up with something after research on the instrument. I am satisfied with the outcome of the concept model but i wish i could have done better.

For the final project i enjoyed turning my concept into my design for the interior spaces. I used a lot of connections of the hexagonal shapes in my design which to me is reflected from my concept model. Space programming was confusing to me. At first, I still did not think of the necessary needs of people who would be using the space, so i didn't planned my spaces almost at random to fit the given location but after consulting with the lecturers and using their advice and suggestions, i managed to properly arrange the spaces.

Throughout this semester I learnt that concept can be found in everything be it in a materialized object or even something we cannot touch.
