Design Developement
I had chosen the Erhu as my forgotten culture. I researched of the orgins and famous musicians that specialized in playing the Erhu. This is where I discovered a man named Ah Bing.
With the basic knowledge of the history of the Erhu, from there i explored the meteriality, movement and the form of the Erhu.

Building the Concept Model
First I made the structure and joined with 1 long pillar/stick as the main structure.
Then i used 2 different colour threads and weaved through the wood in a planned sequence.
Then i weaved through both parts of the hexagonal shape to connect those two together.
I reattached the hexagonal shape back to the structure.
I nailed nails into the MDF one on the top of the structure and used threads to join them together.
