Magic vs Logic

          For my contextual studies assignment, I am working with Iman Sabeela. We decided to do something on the topic we chose. The final assignment will be the accumulative research of our first assignment which was an essay about superheroes. We talked about science mysticism and how science was called magic before the discovery of science which logically explains matters. For example, potions, elixirs, and alchemy are now what we call medicine and chemistry. From a designer’s perspective, we could redesign a space by using aspects that can create illusions that play with the senses of a person. A way of creating illusions is by playing with lights to create shadows and geometrical shapes. We could also use mirrors and cloth to manipulate the space to trick the naked eye.
